Really High Torque Shafts

NOTE 19: The Club Scout limits the torque readout to 9.9 degrees. Any shaft with a torque that high probably belongs in the scrap barrel but several clubmakers have asked if it were possible to get an actual torque value for those shafts beyond 9.9 degrees just to get an idea of how bad shaft is. It is possible. Just push the mode switch back to the cpm position. Its value is not limited and can be converted to torque manually. Here's a table of torsion arm frequencies vs. torque.

I did run into a shaft with 23 degrees of torque.
